This year has been a bit… unexpected.
Not only are Lady Laura and I closing 2025 with yet another heir, but on reflection, there were a couple of other crazy moves not quite planned but wholly welcomed.
Like Tiny Epics: Vol 1.
For years, I have been writing and collecting microstories and doing absolutely nothing with them until I had the random brainfart to package them all up into their respective categories (fantasy, sci-fi, and horror) and serve them to my horde of hungry readers.
Many of whom had never indulged in microfiction up until then.
In any case, Tiny Epics has proved itself a worthy addition to the Storehouse.
Then there was the complete rebrand of The Divided Region.
Less than a couple of months ago — after countless requests from fans for the paperback versions — I decided on a whim that 2025 would be the year we got this monkey off our “backs” (get it… paper‘backs’? No? 😬).
That was yet another successful detour.
Then, finally, there is Lore & Order; my latest, unplanned move that I suspect will be my best one yet.
Us fantasy fiends… how do I put this?
When we get locked into a world, we don’t want to leave it.
As in, you-would-have-to-come-to-my-house-and-steal-my-kindle-and-slap-me-unconscious type of “I’m not leaving.”
