They are real.
Or, at least, that's what I believe. For the record, I'm talking about intelligent life (i.e., the ones with big heads, big eyes, and who like to zoom around the universe in saucers) — not microscopic worms that have turned portions of a planet into Swiss cheese.
Think about it:
There are approximately 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe. We're in one of them – the Milky Way.
Is it really reasonable to say we are the only ones floating around in this endless void?
I don't know, Slink. It sure smells funny to me.
Even if there's a 0.0000001% chance that one of these galaxies is housing intelligent life…
That's 2,000 possible galaxies.
TWO THOUSAND!
That leaves just about every UFO conspiracy theory open to possibility, so long as we nut jobs have lips to crack and tongues to wag.
Perhaps the lizard people are real?
Perhaps Mark Zuckerberg is an alien wearing a man suit?
Perhaps they are watching us from the dark side of the moon?
And if that all seems a bit too "out there" for you, I've got a chilling duology series that is very much grounded on Earth.
You won't find any aliens or flying discs in this one.
Just ghosts, missing people, and a 'ho bunch of creepy sh*t that happens at the weirdest times.

P.S. I'm half-toying with re-releasing my three-part supernatural thriller series, Leave IT Alone. It's some of my earliest work and, admittedly, quite formative, but I'm still proud of some of the twists in it.
