Now, I'll admit, this joke got me.
I'm not sure this email will do it justice, but to hell with it. I know there'll be at least a couple of Legionnaires here who'll appreciate it.
Everyone else?
BOOOOOOO!
(For the record, I came across it during a dreaded doom-scroll whilst waiting for Lady Laura to stagger out of her dentist appointment. You should have seen the horror on some of the patients' faces. The noise that escaped me was something else.)
Here it is:
What was Michael Jackson's favourite drink?
……
….
…
… Tee-hee. ☕️
😭😭😭😭😭
I don't know why that one had me bawling like a child, but the Lord is my witness, it did. Maybe I'm going through a lull in life right now. Or maybe, just maybe, it's a bloody good joke.
In any case, if you enjoy my comedic morsels, there's a good chance you'll revel in my epic fantasy.
And I'm talking about real epic fantasy, by the way.
Not the stories with whiny protagonists…
Or shape-shifting fated mates…
Or randy elves with "feelings"…
Or dark lords that are fawning over the local countess.
I'm yapping about the classic stuff – big worlds, epic stakes, war, morally grey characters, and a boatload of beasts that belong in a horror movie – but with modern pacing.
If that sounds like your cup of tee-hee, then that's exactly what you will find in The Divided Region.
