After months of procrastination, and an entire Sunday spent loading them individually on my Storehouse AND setting up the shipping zones AND country-based rates WHILST also fighting off tech gremlins in the process, you can now (finally) hold these stories in your hands for the first time.
I know, I know.
Quite the time to be alive.
A caveat, however:
If you’re expecting same-day or next-day delivery options, then, well, you’ll be sorely disappointed. These are independently printed books that are superior in quality compared to Amazon’s mass-market, speed-freak machines.
While their printed wares are by no means crap (they’re not), they don’t come near to the vibrant colours, soft matte finish, and cream-coated pages of the paperbacks stocked at my Storehouse.
At least in my uncertified and unbiased opinion.
Luckily I’m not narcissistic enough (yet) to accept not everyone cares for those things. Some people just want a copy for their bookshelves — irrespective of how silky smooth or vibrant the books might be.
To those tasteless souls, I say this:
They will eventually find their way onto mass-market retailers.
However, in the famous words of Juba from Gladiator…
"Not yet… not yet."
And quite frankly, I’m in no rush.
Lady Laura and I are expecting Baby #2 any day now, and sure enough, one of these cramps will turn into real contractions, so I’m purposefully keeping my to-do list clear of any strenuous activities.
So, if you'd like to own the superior versions of The Divided Region paperbacks for less than what they will eventually retail for on Amazon and the likes — and you live a somewhat busy life to not sweat the extra time it takes for your order to be printed and shipped with care — then today is an exciting day indeed.
