As I draw nearer to the end of The Divided Region, I'm met with a plethora of feelings.
Some might be disappointed to hear that one of them is unbridled relief.
This has been a series that sprang from the COVID pandemic, like so many other books, business ventures, and other transformative ideas, I suspect.
I suppose it wasn't all doom and gloom.
On the other hand, I am also met with a deep sadness because it means saying goodbye to characters and a story that has been a constant for the better part of six years.
One can only imagine how Tolkien must have felt when he called time on Middle-earth.
I'm sure it took more than a few pints to even him out.
However, all is not lost, dear reader.
I've got ideas leaking from my ears for several spin-off series set in Estos and the greater realm of Estrana.
No sooner does the ink dry on one idea than another begs to be jotted down.
Such is the blessing and curse of being a scribe, I guess.
But do you know what isn't a curse?
Buying from my Storehouse.
I've invested a lot of time, money, and choice words into this storefront to make buying e-books, audiobooks, paperbacks, and other cool stuff as easy as buttering toast.
I also (proudly) make sure Patrons get the best deal and versions of my products compared to those found on retailers.
Hell, some products you cannot find anywhere else, like Lore & Order or Sticks & Stones, among others.
It is a pledge I will keep until I wheeze out my last breath.
