(Yes, even the "mean" ones.)
However, these days, it seems I'm getting a lot more messages like the following DM I got on Instagram yesterday…
Hey mate, just wanted to send you a message and let you know how much im enjoying your audio books,never been a huge reader but thought i would try audio books while I work . Stumbled across your book Exiled and thought why not give it a go, 1 week later and im hallway through Last alliance and thoroughly enjoying it. Just wanted to say thanks for keeping me entertained while i work and keep it up because your a great writer 👍

Like I said, I love reading comments from my lords and ladies, and this one's no different.

That said, it seems the series is attracting a lot of non-readers, or those who don't read a lot, and I think I have the answer…
AUDIOBOOKS.
Sure, I've demonstrated some chops at crafting a good story, but the birth of audio listening has really kicked open the door to an ocean of people who otherwise might never have picked up my book/e-book.
Perhaps it's time constraints…
Reading difficulties…
Or simply a noisy home that makes it impossible to sit down to flip through a story.
In any case, I welcome those fine men and women.
While audiobooks are fantastic for these reasons or for killing hours at work, they're also a solid accompaniment to reading — especially if you're a slow reader like me.
