A short one today as I’m knee-deep in audiobook production and have a dirty nappy (diaper, for my American brothers and sisters) to address:
I’ve just received word from my proofreader that she intends to get The Great Betrayal back to me by Friday, which will give me the weekend to review the destruction wielded by her pen.
By all accounts, she loves it.
“The best by far,” she said.
And no, I didn’t enlist Lyara’s sword to “extract” that review.
They were her words, not mine.
Obviously, this warms my cockles like no Scotch ever could as I, too, believe this to be the best instalment of the series to date. Lots of action happens in this one, and I for one believe loyal readers will have much to savour in this sequel.
