Last Monday, I announced my quarterly purge, and today I can reveal to you the body count.
And let me tell you…
IT WAS A MASSACRE.
I'm starting to think these culls should come with a trigger warning, given just how many heads end up rolling down the hill.
Anywho, of the 65 people contacted (which is blimmin' excellent for a DAILY newsletter of my size)…
60 have been banished from our enclave.
They've since been tagged as "Purged" inside my email settings and are left to live a Drifter's life.
Let us pause to remember the fallen…
… NOT.
Listen, should they repent and return at a later date, I will not refuse them entry, but if they are identified by my Email Service Provider again, they'll be blocked and banned for life.
"Wow, that's such a tyrannical thing to do."
And you'd be right, my old chum.
I've always intended for The Legion to feel less like a newsletter and more like an exclusive club — a place where, among other things, I like to share material I wouldn't otherwise publish on places like social media.
So consider this my hat-tip to you for being a champion of my work and these musings.
Your fealty is greatly appreciated.
Perhaps we'll expand beyond the Legion's walls one day and into a Digital Town Square where we can all play and frolic in a community-type setting.
But that's not the priority right now.
The priority is finishing Book 7 and wrapping up The Divided Region.
