I’m in a foul mood

First, the good news:

England won their knockout match against Mexico.

The bad news:

I had to stay up until 4:30 AM for the privilege, which means I've only had a few hours of the good stuff because the boys like to wake up from 7:00 AM onwards.

As you can imagine, my eyes are glazed over and almost unblinking at this point.

Plus, I've got the important task of producing the audiobook for Book 6 of The Divided Region, formatting it into an e-book and paperback, reviewing the cover design, and several other things that go into the launch.

Fret not, I've got two cans of Neutonic on my desk, dripping from the condensation.

Besides, it could be worse.

I could be laying bricks in this 32-degree heat or driving an 18-wheeler across the country, so I shall moan no more.

All will be worth it, is what I say.

All will be worth it.

And I suspect many of you will agree when the sequel lands in your hands this month.

It's definitely some of my best work to date, and I had a lot of fun writing this one.

I cannot wait for you to read it.

But that doesn't solve the issue of you twiddling your thumbs in Watson's waiting room, so I have a solution:

Should you need something to tide you over until the sequel drops, I have 141 fantasy, sci-fi, and horror micro stories for you to read or listen to right…
