I refuse to be that author

Lords and ladies, may I have your attention, please.

Since we're making good inroads into Book 6 of TDR and I want to get the sequel into your sticky hands as quickly as possible, I've decided to scale back emailing to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for this week and next.

It could be extended. It could be pulled early.

Depends on the progress I've made.

Some of you might be thinking this is becoming a dangerous habit of mine, but I can assure you it isn't. I enjoy the sound of my voice far too much to drop down to three meagre broadcasts per week.

At least, for now.

But the drop in frequency is a tremendous lever to pull when I need to hone in on my focus and bring a project home.

Besides, this sequel is long overdue, and if there's one thing that keeps me up at night, it's leaving you all hungry.

I refuse to be like a certain other author who's left a community waiting so long they've started growing beards and naming their kids after his characters.

I won't be that guy.

With that, I bid you a cracking week, Legionnaire.

See you at the same place, same time on Wednesday.

P.S. If you're one of the growing flock patiently awaiting the sequel, why not chew on Lore & Order: Chronicles of Estos in the meantime?

It's loaded with histories, lineage lines, detailed geography, factions, guild lore, fauna, flora, and SO much more that doesn't get peppered into the books.

Grab it here — and no, it's not available on retailers:
