Following yesterday’s retail release of The Great Betrayal, a few Legionnaires with a nose for fish quickly noticed something was afoot.

Rumour has it she’s taking her ruler to the back of knees, so watch out.
Anyway…
It seems I wasn’t the only one to suffer from a slump-inducing week because, for the first time in months, I received NO questions from subscribers or Drifters. I know, quite the shock, but if I’m being brutally honest?
Like, really, really honest?
I was quite relieved.
**gasps reverberate all around**
“How could you say that, Watson?”
“You promised to host a Q&A every Sunday!”
“I patiently sat by my inbox all afternoon! Even bought myself popcorn for the occasion. Disgraceful!”
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Calm down or else you’ll taste the worn edges of my ban-hammer muhahaha. 😈
While horrified onlookers collect their dentures, I accept this stealthy cancellation might have blindsided some of you. However, given my own slump, I didn’t have the stamina to write a 600-800-word email yesterday.
Rest assured, this doesn’t mean #AskWatson is being shut down or abolished.
Never.
What it DOES mean is that if you fail to send in any questions, you’ll have to put up with yet another one of my obnoxious musings instead.
I’ve said it 100 times before, but I’ll say it again:
YOUR QUESTIONS CAN QUITE LITERALLY BE ABOUT ANYTHING*.
*Just not my views on George R.R. Martin’s most recent announcement, as I cannot promise Gmail won’t flag my email as being too vulgar.
