If you're reading this, it's already too late.
Yesterday, I made a very quick and brief offer that was teased in Wednesday's email, offering 20 Legionnaires the chance to get their hands on Book 6's outline of The Divided Region, as well as the rough draft of Chapter 1 and a few other bonuses.
But the caveat was, you had not only 24 hours to act.
Oh, and 19 other Legionnaires to beat out before the offer was torn down to the ground.
And torn down it was.
I've already fielded emails from readers complaining they cannot buy.
I suspect there will be many more such complaints this weekend from those who've only just checked their inbox.
However, I will NOT cave or pop open a backdoor, irrespective of how good a Patron they've been. I do this not because I'm wholly sworn to my Overlord & Saviour persona, but for three (other) very specific reasons:
- It undermines the 20 people who acted quickly.
- It bruises my reputation and integrity.
- It will hopefully encourage some part-time Legionnaires to tune into my engrossing and entirely unhinged musings every day to ensure they don't miss out on another impromptu event like this again.
Anyway, I very much hope the Patrons who acted quickly are excited about what's to come in Book 6.
Plenty to look forward to.

Fret not — you won't be waiting too long for the sequel. I'm blazing a trail through the manuscript and can safely say the finish line is no longer a distant mirage.
All that will be left to do is give it a final read-through, and then my raven will carry it off to the editor.
Then work begins in earnest on the finale, Book 7.
