I am sick to death of them all having the fun, so it’s high time I roll up my sleeves and get these pretty little hands of mine dirty. 😈
However, instead of gorking about the latest ChatGPT model or the AI sugarbabes that are going to replace human girlfriends, I’m specifically going to share…
MY AI PROPHECY*
(*four, to be precise)
Prophecy #1:
AI will be restricted to the public once companies have satisfied their hunger for the data we’re so freely handing over to them. Then — and only then — will the tech be reserved only for the ultra-wealthy and elite behind a hefty paywall.
Prophecy #2:
In the next few years, we’re going to see personal robots walking alongside their owners on the street like pets, and crazier still, the average Debbie and Darren won’t bat an eyelid.
Prophecy #3:
Medicine is about to change forever (and for the better).
Listen, there is nobody more sceptical about Big Pharma than your daily host, but with the way AI is going — and the way it is already able to read bloodwork and X-rays with remarkable accuracy and speed — we’re on the cusp of seeing sharp declines in misdiagnosis and will catch diseases before they have a chance to take root.
Truly exciting.

Prophecy #4:
While this isn’t specifically about AI and robotics, I do foresee nations (especially island states) capitalising on those of us who do not want to partake in a world where self-driving cars, robot dogs, and neural links are the norm.
How?
By outlawing them and promoting a “human-only” way of life.
(Sign me up!)
Whether they crap on every other country’s GDP is a debate for another day, but I do see something like this happening in the coming decades. It’s no different to what some Asian and Latin American countries have done, providing havens for crypto investors, digital nomads, and the like.
You know what else I foresee?
