I rarely socialise or partake in the rantings of my comrades there, but there is one conversation cropping up an awful lot recently.
And it's quite concerning.
At least for the authors it's affecting.

Most of these authors report something far more sinister.
Either Amazon gives no definitive reason for the termination — which is pretty disgusting considering a number of these authors depend on their royalties to put food on the table — or they cite:
"Content Issues."
What the fudge does that even mean?!
For me and my jaded brain, that means there was probably content inside those books that flagged up on the moral police's radar.
Laugh and point at me all you want, Chucky, but given the deluge of cancellations we've seen over the past 10+ years, it wouldn't surprise me.
Yet, as sad and frustrating as it is to read these posts by my peers, I always breathe a sigh of relief for not betrothing myself to Amazon.
Instead, like a good doomsday prepper, I hedge my bets across multiple retailers.
And even then, I've gone one step further.
