I don't know why this split me open like a botox-brimming smile, but it did. I love humour that's confident, bold, and slightly self-deprecating — especially if you're none of those things.
It's also quite magnetic.
I believe it's one of the reasons Jangar from The Divided Region is so adored by readers and listeners, which is quite astounding given just how vulgar and violent he can be.
Hell, I've even received indirect "threats" not to harm him.
It's crazy out here writing fiction, I tell ya.
But I wouldn't change it for all the "sexy" in the world.
Characters with flaws, quirks, beating hearts, and worldly desires are the wheels of a good tale. Without them, the story goes nowhere.
