Yes, I've changed the font of these emails from a standard Arial to Courier. But why? Why would I swap out a clean font for something this…
Fugly?
For starters, I've always loved the typewriting finish this font brings to the party, as it really amplifies the authory vibe I'm going for.
Secondly, it also carries a "crudeness" that captures the character of the Legion.
Then there's the third reason…
I just wanted to.
That said, while I love this font, I'm not necessarily married to it. If enough Legionnaires complain their eyes are being eaten alive by it, then I may switch it.
Or…
We can adjust it a bit.
So tell me, Legionnaire…
Will you be my "courier" of truth and let me know how you're finding the font?
