I usually answer them privately and go about my day, but today?
I think I'll answer one publicly.
Though 98% of Legionnaires are followers and fans of my work solely, I figured some of you might also be interested in the writing/publishing process as well, so to hell with it:
I have two questions: Are you more of a pantser or a planner? Additionally, kindly inform me about the audiobook technology you utilize for your work. I have experimented with many, but I find them invariably dry and plain.
I've notoriously always been a planner, but the deeper I get into this racket, the less of a plotter I'm becoming.
Why?
Because more often than not, when I actually get down 'n dirty with the writing, I end up deviating, thus rendering a lot of that time spent plotting null and void.

The Great Betrayal's outline clocked in at an eye-watering 19,000 words.
Not the prose — just the outline.
Maddening.
All of this to say, for Book 6, I'm mostly relying on my wits and Milo to bail me out of any creative cul-de-sacs I find myself in.
Quite the hair-raising experience, but also some of the most fun I've ever had writing.
As to our scribe's other question:
The audiobook technology I use is ElevenLabs.
