Legionnaires will know that for the past couple of days, our 15-month-old has come down with what doctors diagnosed as a viral fever.
Something that can only be managed with paracetamol, ibuprofen, and time.
We managed to successfully bring down his near-40-degree temperature (in Celsius, that is), and we thought we had turned a corner.
Or so we believed.
It seems I may have spoken too soon as Master Liam has woken up today with a rash that has spread across his body and, most alarmingly, behind his ears. It could be chickenpox. Could be measles. At this point, Google is not our friend, and we are refraining from foraying too deeply there.
We’re awaiting a video call from a doctor to give us our next steps, so God only knows what’s in store for us all today.
Hopefully, not another trip to the cramped A&E department.
In any case, wish us luck, as we might need it.
And while you’re in a giving mood, it would be greatly appreciated if you would help your Overlord & Saviour out by leaving a review for The Divided Region. It doesn’t matter if you bought one book or all five — or if over at Amazon or my Storehouse — I’d still love to hear from you.
As an added bonus for those who do, if you reply to this email to say you have done so, I’ll gift you a rare coupon code to knock 25% off my brand-new paperbacks once they go live in the next week or two.
Fair?
Terrific.
For those who have purchased TDR on Amazon or another retailer, you can leave a review — not a rating — here:

If, however, you purchased directly at my store, go here:
