I’ve rebranded the covers of The Divided Region.
I’ve identified my Print-On-Demand (POD) partner for my Storehouse and ordered a small batch to confirm their supreme quality.
I even privately uploaded my books to Amazon to compare them to my POD partner. I say “privately” loosely because, after filling in all the painstaking details of Forbidden Forest, instead of clicking “Save Draft”…
I accidentally hit Publish.

For 24 gruelling hours, I refreshed my KDP dashboard more times than a student awaiting their final grades until… finally… 29 hours later, it was approved and I could unpublish it.
And unpublished it was!
(Rumour has it, my sigh can be felt in Ohio.)
Tense times indeed.
Anyway, while I’m 90% sure the books will turn out fine, I didn’t want to risk the first-ever copies of The Divided Region ending up in my Patrons’ hands without my all-important sign-off.
Call me a control freak, a perfectionist — just never a good guy — but quality matters quite a bit to your daily host.
I suspect it does for you, too.
In any case, the end is nigh.
The finish line and the cheerleaders are in sight.
I can already see the pompoms shimmer and hear the sweet symphony of my surname being spelt out one glorious letter at a time. Ah, what a time to be alive. Once these puppies are signed off, you’ll be free to buy and enshrine them in your home.
As will I.
