High praise for a Elon-hating, Trump-seething author

O. Westin.

I’ll admit, this author would probably hate my guts. 😅

He is very much wedded to one side of the political aisle, and even so much as took the bold move to delete his Twitter account of 100,000 followers (foolish, IMO) simply because he loathes Elon and “the Nazi pumpkin” he is associated with (his words, not mine).

I couldn’t give two figs about politics these days, which, by virtue, would likely give him reflux.

But that won’t stop me from giving the chap high praise.

Why?

It was through him and his Twitter account that I first got my taste of micro fantasy/sci-fi stories. In a world where 95% of tweets on my timeline were junk, his stories were like those vitamin-loaded “health shots” you buy at the grocery store, and it wasn’t hard for him to stand out.

Since his boycott, others have rushed to fill the void, and I am not ashamed to say I was one of them.

But then, the algorithms changed.

Stories that once got hundreds and thousands of impressions now got a paltry few. Tales that would average a lifespan of a couple of days (or more) now died on the digital grapevine before they had fully ripened.

Such is the game of social media.

However, that didn’t deter me from writing micro stories like it did to our Elon-hating, Trump-seething author (I hear tell he has all but given up after deleting his massive following).

Instead, it fuelled it.

And if it wasn’t for this incredulous tanking, I wouldn’t have compiled 100+ of my bite-sized tales into an e-book titled:

TINY EPICS

Vol 1.

I plan on releasing a digitally narrated audiobook of this after I am done upgrading the narration of TDR and The Curse of Abbey Ruins.

Curious to see the cover of my latest ware?

Then head on over here before I foolishly delete it because I think the internet is a nasty, evil place:
