HERE ARE 4 REASONS NOT TO JOIN THE LEGION:

1. I email daily.

This cadence keeps me useful and interesting. Some folks think fiction authors are quiet, Vitamin-D-deprived recluses, and honestly... some are. I'm too young to fall into that bracket.

2. I’m quirky.

If you follow me on X (formerly Twitter), you’ve likely encountered my unruly ways. One day, I might tweet about the trillions of galaxies in the observable universe and how pathetically small we all are. The next, I post a micro story. My muses are random, but there’s always a takeaway. My emails? No different.

3. I’m cOnTrOvErSiAL. 

This point feels pointless because EVERYTHING is controversial these days. But if the fact that I enjoy steak, believe aliens are real, think AI is cool, and love to plug my fictional wares into my emails makes your fingers twitch, then the Legion isn't for you.

4. I'm not your typical author. 

I didn’t come out of the womb with a book in hand. I didn’t even start reading until… I’ll save that story for later. Just know that my path here wasn’t “normal” and neither is the way I do things.

So there you have it...

Four reasons why joining the Legion might not be for you.
